Art of C /C++ Programming

The Competition has 2 rounds. Round one is the elimination round. The Second Round is the Final round.

Eligibility:

C – Beginners    :   F.E. and S.E.

C – Experts        :  T.E. and B.E.rsons per team

Elimination Round (Round One)

1.   At most 2 candidates per team are allowed.
2.   No reference material of any sort is permitted.
3.   Once the competition starts no communication of any form amongst the teams or between the team and the in-charge is allowed.
4.   Format of the paper.
·    The test contains 20 questions.
·    Each question will have 4 options.
·    The test will be of 20 minutes.
·    No negative marking.
·    The marking scheme is as follows:
Ø 10 question each carrying 1 mark.
Ø 5 question each carrying 3 marks.
Ø 5 question each carrying 5 marks.
5.   Top 20 teams will be selected for the grand finale (Beginners and Experts
separately).
6.   Finalists will be informed personally via emails and calls.

Final round  (Round Two)

1.   The teams will be given 6 programs.
2.                 The programs will have varying weight-age.
3.                 This round will be divided in 2 parts:
·    Part 1 (Algorithm Round):
Ø Teams will have to write as many possible algorithms.
·    Part 2 (Coding the Code) :
Ø Teams should implement as many possible algorithms.
4.   Each part carries different marks.
5.   There would be 3 winners each (Beginners and Experts each).
6.   Judges decision will be final.

Registration fee: Rs.30 for a single person

Registration fee: Rs.50 for a team of two

1st  Prize : Rs.5000/- + Registered Anti virus
2nd Prize : Rs.3000/- + Goodies worth 3000/-

beginners :

1st  Prize : Rs.4000/- + Goddies worth 3000/-
                             2nd Prize : Rs.2000/- + Goodies worth 3000/-
