MICRO-CONTROLLER PROGRAMMING

Introduction:
For all passionate about microcontroller programming, this is best platform to prove your mettle because this is where the best of the best programmers will all fight for glory and pride. Join in, fight hard and prove to the world that you are the best when things go to the micro level.
Rules:

• A team consists of at the most 2 students (the students can be from different institutes)  
• The decision by the judges will be final and binding on all teams.
• Schedule for the event will be updated on the website.

Registration fee:-  Rs.50/- per team.

 

 

Schedule for the event :
4th March, 2008: Eliminations

• The elimination round would be based on multiple choice questions (MCQs).
• The elimination round will typically consist of 30-45 questions of varying complexity to be attempted in allotted time.
• Top 5 teams will qualify for the Finals.

5th March, 2008: Finals

• Finals would be between top 5 teams selected from the elimination round.
• Finals would consist of actual microcontroller programming for the specified task.
• The winner will be judged on –

• Correctness of the algorithm (in short, it should do what it is intended to do!)
• Time required to complete the task.
• Efficiency (Lines of code, memory requirement etc.)

Apart from bragging rights, the top 3 winners will leave will their pockets heavier…
1st prize : Rs 3000/-
2nd prize : Rs 2000/-
3rd prize : Rs 1000/-
