CONCEPTS-Project and model competition

Introduction:-
At Excelsior ’08, the mega event of SCOE, we are organizing under the aegis of Chenigma ‘Concepts’ a Project & Model competition for chemical engineering students. The model can be presented on any topic related to chemical engineering and Biotechnology. The model can also be presented on an innovative idea. So come down here at SCOE, to compete with the best mind and prove your engineering skills!!!

Eligibility Criteria:
The event is open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students pursuing their chemical engineering or in related fields.

Team size:
A project can be presented by a maximum of four students from the same college.

 

Rules:

All the participants are requested to send their abstracts containing all the technical aspects of their machinery.
2) Abstract should not exceed more than 1000 words. The font size should be 12 pt; font face should be Times New Roman with a single spacing between two successive lines.
3) The only information that should appear on the first page is the title of the manuscript, registration ID of author(s), name(s) of author(s), Abstract and keywords.
4) The first page of the report should contain following details:
· Name of the Topic: XXXXXXX
· Name of Author(s): XXXXXXX
· Name of College/University: XXXXXXX
· Name of the Event: Concepts

5) Qualifying participants will have to make a presentation before a panel of judges explaining the salient points of their machinery.
6) A detailed report on the machinery in support of the design and highlighting the important aspects should be brought on the day of the event.
7) Teams will be given only one hour prior to the competition to setup their machine at the venue for judging.
8) Participants should submit in advance their hardware, and other requirement (if required) needed at the time of competition along with the abstract.
9) The organizers reserve all rights to change any or all of the above rules as they deem fit. Change in any rule will be highlighted on the website.
10) A certificate of participation will be given to all the participating students.
11) The decision of the judges shall be final and binding.
