ATHRENA - The annual quiz at SCOE

RULES:-

1. A team of two or a single person can participate.
2. A team can register for a fee of Rs. 50. Online registrations, on the spot registrations and registrations on the college desks in various colleges are allowed. ( A team should register quickly to get a elimination round time of their choice).
3. Both the participants should be of the same college.
4. The first round will be a written elimination where top five teams will qualify to the next round.
5. There will be a total of five written eliminations on the 4 March 2008 subject to a minimum participation of 30 teams.
6. The times for the elimination rounds is as follows
First Elimnation Round - 10:30am
Second Elimnation Round - 12 noon
Third  Elimnation Round - 2 pm
Fourth Elimnation Round - 3:15 pm
Fifth Elimnation Round - 4:30 pm     
7. The written eliminations consist of 30 questions where each question has to be answered in 30 seconds.
8. The qualified teams of the first day will then participate in the semifinals on the 5 March 2008.
9. The Semifinal round will be on the same format of the elimination round but of a higher level.
10. The top 6 teams of the elimination will qualife for the finals.
11. The Finals will be conducted on 5 March 2008 in a conventional quiz.
12. The prizes are worth Rs. 10,000 cash and several other audience prizes (Besides the traditional chocolates).
