ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR
 B.ARCH. AND B.ARCH.(I.D)

Competent Authority
Admission Procedure is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra/ Maharashtra Association of Schools of Architecture/ College (for management quota).
Student Intake
Total 80 (40+40) students. All seats will be filled through an aptitude test conducted by Council of Architecture and central admission process by MASA. The first round of admission will be centralised, through a the state level competent authority (MASA). The vacancies if any, will be filled in by the college thereafter. A super numeric quota of 15% (6 seats) over and above the regular intake is reserved for persons of Indian Origins (PIO) and foreign students.
Fees *
  • For Indian Students : for B.Arch Rs.66, 091/- * (tentative) approximately per annum
  • for B.Arch.(Interior Design) Rs.50,000/- * (tentative) approximately per annum
  • Tution Fees for Foreign Nationals, PIO's & NRI Rs.1,85,000/- per annum
  • Tution Fees for SAARC students ,Rs.1,41,000/- per annum
  • For All First year students Library deposit(refundable) Rs.1500/-

Aptitude test
 
No candidate will be admitted to the B. Arch course unless he/she has appeared and qualified in an aptitude test (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture. .
Documents required  
A. No application will be considered unless it accompanies the attested copies of the following documents :

1. Certificate of Indian nationality issued by a competent authority or by a revenue office not below the rank of Tahsildar.
2. Certificate of passing of the qualifying examination and true copy of the statement of marks.
3. Schools/Institute Leaving Certificate, in original, of the last Institute attended.
4. Certificate of date of birth if the date of birth is not mentioned in the school or institute leaving certificate.
5. Father's/mother's domicile certificate if candidate has not appeared and passed S.S.C Examination and studies two preceding academic years from school located in Maharashtra.

B. For candidates belonging to backward Classes :

1. Certificate to support his claim as backward class candidate in specified form and from specified authority.
2. Certificate issued by the competent authority stating that the candidates parents do not belong to creamy layer, as per relevant orders of the Government of Maharashtra.

C. For candidates who have not passed qualifying examination from institutions in Maharashtra State:

Domicile certificate in respect of father/mother of the candidate.

D. For candidates who are children of Central Government employees :

Transfer order showing the date of transfer and date of joining of father or mother of the candidate as the case may be.

E. For candidates who are children of Non-resident Indians originating from Maharashtra :

1. Certificate of passing the qualifying examination from an institution outside India.
2. Domicile Certificate in respect of the father/parent of the candidate.
3. Certificate from the Indian Diplomatic Mission/Chancellery or Commission abroad that father/parent of the candidate is of Indian origin from Maharashtra and at present residing in that country.
4. Copies of the certificates attached to the application form should be attested by the Principal of the School/Institute or a Gazetted officer or special Executive Magistrate. Original certificates, if attached to the application will not be returned.
5. Original certificates will have to be produced at the time of scrutiny of application prior to admission.
6. Application for admission will not be considered unless it is: Properly and completely filled in. Accompanied by attached copies of the requisite certificate in support of the claims made in the application.
7. Application must be received in the office of the college on or before the last date and time. Application or any of the certificates received after the last date prescribed for this purpose shall not be entertained.
 SELECTION BASIS:

A merit list of qualified candidates will be made considering 50% marks of HSC aggregate and 50% marks of the Aptitude Test.

M. Arch. (Computer Application) & M. Arch. (Architectural Conservation)

Student Intake 20 for each course
Fees *
  • For M. Arch. (Computer Application) Rs.50,000/- * (tentative) per annum
  • For M. Arch. (Architectural Conservation) Rs.50,000/- * (tentative) per annum
  • For All First year students Library deposit(refundable) Rs.1500/-

Eligibility Criteria
The candidate seeking admission to M. Arch. Course must have passed Bachelors Examination in Architecture of recognized University securing minimum 50% marks and above with/without valid GATE score The candidates with valid GATE score
and / or sponsorship shall be given preference and those without GATE score shall be considered subject to the vacancy The admission will be based on the Aptitude Test and personal interview conducted by the College/Competent Authority and consistent record of student throughout his/her academic career.
 
Selection Basis Candidate should have passed Bachelor's Examination in Architecture with minimum 50%.

The candidates with valid GATE score will be given preference and the candidates without valid GATE score shall be considered subject to the vacancy.
