OBJECTIVES OF RESEACH INCUBATION CENTER:

To create zeal among students and faculty members towards research and innovation.
To work closely with the health industrial needs that eventually will result in new or improved systems, processes and services that can contribute in gaining healthy society.
To foster collaborations for mutual benefits and to maximize nursing connectivity.
To establish collaboration with other universities, public and private sectors and identify research and development areas including consultancy services which could be undertaken at the institution.
To mentor, support and provide various facilities to gain excellence in research.
To maintain standards in research activities.
To foster research innovation in nursing practice.

POLICY OF RESEARCH INCUBATION CENTER:

Candidate must be nursing professional.
Candidate should have minimum one year of clinical/teaching experience.
Candidate should be self motivated and self-interested in research project.
Candidate should produce non-objection certificate from current working institute.
Candidate’s research statement should be approved by synopsis and ethic committee of Sinhgad College of Nursing.
Candidate should work towards research project as per the schedule given by Research Incubation Center.
Candidate should complete research project within stipulated time provided by the institute or else will be liable for refund of research project grant.
Candidate needs to submit necessary audited expenditure certificate.
Candidate should fulfill all the formalities to receive grants/sponsorships from research incubation centre.
Candidate should put self efforts for seeking funds from government and non government agencies as per directions of Research Incubation Center.
Each candidate will do only one research project in a year.
Candidate should publish the research in National/International journals approved by UGC/ INDEX journals.
Group research will not be allowed except researcher & co-researcher.
After completion of five successful research projects, candidate will get lifetime membership of research incubation centre.
