SCOP USPs

1SCOP has always had an astounding result at University of Pune for more than a decade now; with more than 90% pass result at the B.Pharm. level and 100 % at the M.Pharm. level. The students have also been doing well at the national level entrance exams.

2Emphasis is laid on the teaching learning process, where students not only rely on class-room teaching but also on beyond syllabus learning through guest lectures, industrial tours, personality development programs, field trips, seminars, workshops, co-curricular activities and the like which are held throughout the year.

3The state of the art infrastructure including the laboratories and library of the institute is well supported by a dedicated and experienced team of teaching staff, which is reflected in quality research papers in peer reviewed journals ( > 200) and the patents filed.

4The success is reflected in the placement of our students, where training starts right from the first year of their under-graduate studies. Campus interviews, development of soft skills, entrepreneurship development programs etc. are routinely conducted. More than 30% of our students are placed through campus interviews in multinational as well as Indian pharma conglomerates. Remaining students pursue higher studies either in India or abroad.

5Sinhgad College of Pharmacy (SCOP) is Affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (Formerly University of Pune), Approved by AICTE and Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. SCOP has been included in the list of colleges prepared under Section 2 (f) & 12 (B) of the UGC Act, 1956 under the head Non-Government Self Financed Colleges.
