About STES |
Teaching and learning
got a far deeper meaning when the Sinhgad Technical Education Society
(STES) was set-up in August 1993. Prof. M. N. Navale, a great visionary
and dynamic leader, laid the foundation of a Society that went on
to win the respect and admiration of students as well as other Institutes.
The high standard of education imparted at the different Institutes
under the aegis of STES in the fields of Engineering, Management,
Pharmacy, Architecture, Computer, Arts, Commerce and Science has
proved to be the lifeline for many successful careers. Sinhgad College
of Engineering (SCOE) was established in the year 1996 at present
offers under- graduate programs in Information Technology, Computer,
Electronics & Telecommunication, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil,
Production, Bio-technology Engineering and Postgraduate programs
in Electronics & Telecommunication, Mechanical (Design), Mechanical
(Heat Power) and Chemical Engineering. We are proud to state that
ours is the youngest engineering institute in India to start Ph.D.
program within 10 years from the establishment. Ph.D. Programs are
currently offered in Mechanical, Civil and Chemical Engineering.
All the above courses are approved by All India Council of Technical
Education (AICTE), accredited by National Board of Accreditation
(NBA), New Delhi and affiliated to University of Pune. The Directorate
of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra State, Mumbai has awarded
"A" grade to the college. |
