RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR HOSTELITIES
 
HOSTEL FEES :
 
1. All Fees have to be paid as per rules for the whole academic year. The fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.
2. Deposit will be refunded only after paying the total amount of the Hostel dues.
3. The receipt of the hostel fees should be duly signed by the payee and the receiver.
 
MESS FACILITY :
 
1. Mess is compulsory for all students.
2. No outside food is allowed on the campus.
3. Mess charges have to be paid in advance to the Mess incharge.
 
DICIPLINE:
 
1. Reporting to Warden is compulsory whenever instructed.
2. Student should report to the hostel positively within their timings-
    Boys Hostel-11.00 p.m.
    Girls hostel- 9.00 p.m.
3. Students have to make entry in the IN-OUT register maintained in the hostel office (timing, address & telephone no. of the place they are going).
4. Parents have to give an application to the senior warden regarding the Local Guardian’s address and telephone. Also in changes regarding the same. Any other institutions regarding their ward should be given in writing and well in advance.
5. Parents and relatives may be accommodated in the Guest room with prior permission of the Warden/Rector/Head of the institution concern as per the rules laid down for the same.
6. Hostel NIGHT-OUT forms to be filled before leaving the hostel for a night. Night out permitted only if sanctioned by the Warden.
7. NIGHT-OUT permission to be taken strictly two days in advance. No permission will be given at the last moment except in emergency.
8. Students will be permitted to leave the hostel for night-out during the college working days with the prior permission (no objection) of their Head of the Institution.
9. Students to celebrate certain functions only with the prior permission of the authority.
10. Students will not be allowed to stay out after hostel timing except in emergency (informed to the hostel authority) or with prior permission.
11. In emergency, if stuck in the city, late arrival of transport, transport failure etc. the hostel office is to be contacted immediately.
12. Any breakage or damage to the hostel property will be recovered from the concerned student. Decorum is to be maintained while using hostel property.
13. Shouting, screaming, throwing things around during the failure of electricity on the campus is prohibited. Any student caught not adhering to this will face serious retribution.
14. Students are advised not to keep any expensive articles with them.
The management will not be responsible for any loss. Care should taken and money be kept under lock and key.
15. Shouting loudly, playing radios and cassette player loudly, loitering around late at night, and anything else that will disturb the other hostel mates is strictly prohibited.
16. Affixing photographs, posters, indecent posters, wallpaper etc. on the wall and glass panel is strictly prohibited.
17. Watching indecent movies on the computers (VCDs) is strictly prohibited.
18. Students to be regular for their daily attendance.
19. The students must vacate the hostel rooms as per the rules after the closure of the academic term.
20. The rules and timing of the reading hall, the library and the computer facility provided for the students should be strictly followed.
21. Smoking, drugs and drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited.
22. Students found engaged in ragging activities shall be immediately expelled / the decision of the Management / Authority will be final and binding on the students and their parents.
23. Student participating in any extra curricular activities who are required to be late or leave the hostel for more than a day should produce a letter to that effect from the Head of the Institution to the warden before she actually leave the hostel.
24. Silence to be maintained strictly during the period of examination.
25. The students should always carry their Identity cards and present before the hostel authority on demand (especially while leaving the society campus).
26. Students not having valid driving license should not drive vehicles.
27. Students should park their vehicles in the parking places provided for and marked for them only.
