Manual Entrance Test

The applicants from Maharashtra can appear for manual entrance test in the following centres of Sinhgad Technical Education Society's Institutes listed below:

The manual entrance test will be conducted on 25th & 26th May 2008 for June batch & 4th January 2009 & 11th January 2009 for January 2009 batch

Syllabus for Question Paper :
A) Question Paper will cover the following areas: General Knowledge, Arithmetical ability, Analytical reasoning, English Usage: of the CET pattern & allocation of marks are as follows .

Analytical Reasoning	40 Marks
Verbal Reasoning	40 Marks
Non Verbal Reasoning	40 Marks
Quantitative Ability-	30 Marks
Verbal Ability/ Reading Comprehension	30 Marks
Data interpretation and sufficiency -	20 Marks
Total	200 Marks

B) Note :

1) Examination will be of 2 hours duration
2) Question paper will carry 100 questions only
3) Each question will carry 2 marks
4) There will not be negative marking
5) SIOM-DEC will declare the result by 02/06/2008 for June Batch and By 22/9/2008 for January 2009 Batch which will be displayed on our website.

C) Procedure for manual Entrance Test for PGDM Course :

The applicants who have already appeared and have valid scores in the following qualifying Entrance tests need not appear for SIOM DEC entrance test. CAT/MAT/CET/XAT/ATMA/NAT and any other qualifying entrance test conducted by Deemed Universities. However they will have to produce score card of their examination while securing the admission. The candidates outside Maharashtra who are unable to attend on line test will have option to appear for mannual test in specified ten centers of Maharashtra only.
