| a) The students are required to write three tutorials
/ assignments per subject per semester and to be submitted
by the student by 1st week of Sept. for assessment. b)
The students have to submit their tutorials / assignments
to the Study Centre Coordinator assigned to them on or
before 31 Oct.
c) The Student will receive 2 solved case studies and
2 unsolved case studies, which they have to solve and
submit to SIOM-DEC before 15th September .
d) Submission of all the tutorials / assignments of all
subjects is pre-condition for appearing for the term-end
exam.

| B. Term End (Theory) Examination - 70 marks |
| |
| The term end examination of theory papers will be held
twice a year i.e, last week of December and first week of
June. SIOM-DEC conducts two term-end examinations in
a year.
The Term-end (Semester) examination is an integral component
of evaluation system, depending upon the batch for which
admission is taken,

1) Total number of questions will be minimum 7 maximum
8 out of which 5 questions will have to be answered.
2) In each subject wherever mathematical syllabus is there
one numerical question will be asked.
3) There will be one question on short notes (out of 7,
4 to be solved)
4) Diagrams & graphs are to be prepared by students
wherever required.
5) The medium of instruction and answering the question
papers is English only.
6) The following compliances must be made by the students
before they appear for term-end examination: |

a) The confirmation of eligibility
b) Payment of the programme fees in full
c) Submission of all tutorials / assignments
d) Submission of the prescribed form of examination before
due date.
e) Identity card
f) Submission of the Project Report for IV semester of the
two year PGDM program and II semester of the one year Diploma
Program

| Seeking minimum 'D' grade marks is passing condition of
the management programme |

Declaration of Examination Result :
The result of each term-end examination will be declared
within 45 days or before commencement of the next term-end
examination.
There is no revaluation of theory papers as well as tutorials
/ assignments.
Examination Form :
The prescribed form of examination will be available at
the Study Centres or it will be sent by the SIOMDEC in
due course to the students. There is no separate examination
fee. It is included in the total fees.
The students must submit the examination form at least
one month before the date of commencement of the term-end
examination.
A Permanent Registration Number (PRN) will be allotted
to the candidate after the confirmation of the eligibility
compliances and payment of the fees. The 'PRN' No. is
always the candidate's Seat Number or Admit Card Number
for all of his / her examinations.
SIOM DEC: Study Centre :
SIOM-DEC has established Study Centres in most of the
cities within and outside Maharashtra and each Centre
is having the qualified Coordinator and academic counselor
who provides all the information i.e admission procedure,
academic inputs, prospectus forms, courseware, examination
schedule related to the programmes conducted by SIOM-DEC.
The Centres are fully equipped with library and Internet
facilities and are easily accessible.
One dedicated classroom is made available for weekly contact
lectures and facility for conducting seminars/ workshops
as and when required.

pages. |
