Admission Procedure
 
 
 
    Admissions to intuitions under the aegis of Sinhgad Technical Education Society (STES) are conducted through the International students Centre, University of Pune for all Foreign /PIO/Children of Indian origin in Gulf countries. The student needs to apply in person to the International students centre for their admission to STES.

Step 1 :

Candidate needs to Purchase the International Students Bulletin that also has application form for Rs 500 by cash or Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of “ Registrar University of Pune” The form can also be obtained at STES office or downloaded from (www.unipune.ernet.in link)

Step 2 :

The Eligibility form needs to be filled up and submitted along with all necessary documents and registration Fee of Rs.600/- for non-professional Course and Rs. 1200/- for Professional Courses. This may be paid by cash or by Demand Draft in favour of " Registrar University of Pune " at the Bank of Maharashtra (Address and phone number link) after filling the requisite challan. Also submit the counterfoil of the Eligibility fee payment to International Student Center University of Pune.

Step 3 :

Every student will be required to submit an undertaking on Rs.20/- stamp paper (Undertaking Format).

Step 4 :

Collect the Provisional Admission & Eligibility letter from (International students centre University of Pune) On the basis of this letter the Indian Embassy of your country issues a Student Visa.

Step 5 :

Candidates with student visa then need to register themselves to the Sinhgad International Student Center (Karve Road) SISC.

Step 6 :

On completion of registration with SISC the student needs to go to the International Students Center, University of Pune and pay the Entrance fee, Medical fee and Medical Insurance fee through the appropriate challan at the Bank of Maharashtra. The amount to be paid is US $ 655. This may be paid in US $ or the equivalent sum in Indian Rupees. This all needs to be done by the applicant in person. It is also suggested that the applicant if asked must be furnished.

Step 7 :

Approximately in 2 working days the initial procedure is completed by University and the college allotment letter is ready which needs to be collected by the candidate in person.

Step 8 :

Candidate then needs to go to the allotted college with International centre letter of admission and pay the fees this completes the procedures of admission.

Step 9 :

It is the responsibility of student to report to the college and course allotted within 7 days of the issue of letter. Failure to report will entail automatic cancellation of admission. No refund of any of the fees paid to the University of Pune is possible.

Step 10 :

It is mandatory to pass English Proficiency Test for the student from non-English speaking countries.
 
Following students are exempted from English Proficiency Test :
 
  • Students from English speaking Countries. Students who have passed from Indian H.S.C. Boards
  • Students who have passed ELICIS Course with minimum B+ (Grade)
