Spandan is the cultural festival
held by MUHS to ensure all round development of the students.
The 2006- 2007 Spandan was held at Vadgaon campus of STES and
the responsibility was accepted by the staff and students with
zeal. The program was inaugurated by Hon’ble Medical Education
Minister Shri Dilip Walshe Patil. The 75 colleges under MUHS,
Nashik presented a cultural march on the occasion.
The students enthusiastically participated in various cultural
activities like dancing, singing, role play, and rally. College
secured second position for rally on theme of “Sampoorna
Swachchhata Abhiyaan” and Ms. Alenda Oonnooney; a second
yr student secured 2nd position for Beauty Pageant.

Many competitions are held every
academic year to ensure all round development of the students.
Last year, TNAI sponsored International Nurses’ Day which
was celebrated in Sassoon hospital School of Nursing and Sadhu
Vaswani College of Nursing on 12th May 2007. The students participated
whole heartedly in all events and won following prizes:
1. Ms. Hetal Wakade won first prize in Essay Writing (Marathi/
Hindi)
2. Mr. Peter Bhore and Ms. Geeta Sagnali won second prize in duet
dancing.
3. Ms. Vaideghi Gounder won consolation prize for essay writing
(English)
Other than intercollegiate activities, many SNA activities are
held in the college too, for example, Teachers’ day celebration,
Diwali Celebration, Christmas Celebration, etc. In academic year
2007-08, following activities have been celebrated at college
level:
