Ans:- No, Nursing is a full time course. The
duration is 4 years for B.Sc. Nursing, and 2 years for Post
Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
2. Is this course for boys also?
Ans:- Yes, the nursing course offered at Sinhgad
College of Nursing is a co- ed program.
3.Is staying in society hostel compulsory for the students?
Ans:- No, the students can also join as day scholars.
4. Is CET necessary for admission in nursing
course?
Ans.:Yes, for getting admission to Nursing
Course, the candidate needs to appear for Association CET, and
admission will be granted on the basis of merit list.
5. What is the procedure of admission for out
of Maharashtra Students?
Ans:- A student outside of Maharashtra must
appear for CET, Asso CET conducted by AMUPMDC or MHTCET conducted
by DMER Mumbai of the year you want to secure the admission.
The notification of CET appears in newspaper in the month of
December/January of each year the candidates may also visit
the official website of both the authorities.

6.Is nursing a full time job?
Ans:-Yes, nursing is a full time job in India,
howerever you may also opt for part time job in private sectors.
7.Is 100% attendance in theory and clinicals compulsory
for appearing in University Examination?
Ans:-Students need to have 75% attendance in
Clinicals and theory classes to be eligible for appearing in
University examinations. However, the student has to have 100%
of clinical hours attendance before the award of degree.
8.What is the procedure for joining a collegiate program
if there was a break in my education after 12th Science?
Ans:You will have to give CET conducted by competent
authorities. You are also advised to go through the eligibility
criteria given elsewhere.
