The Institute has set up an Health Care and Drug Information Centre in the year 2004, with an objective to create awareness and provide information to the staff and the students of STES, Lonavala Campus and also educate the adjoining villagers regarding Primary Health Care, Social And Economic impact on Health care metabolic disorders, diet-related health problems and counseling on the importance of appropriate use and storage of medicines. Various informative materials such as hand outs, displays, books, WHO news letter, illustration and pictures along with etiology of disorders are also made available. Regularly organizing healthcare camps such as Blood Group Detection, Blood Pressure &Blood Sugar, checkup along with body weight, height, body mass index (BMI), Hip waist ratio. The Drug Information centre also prepares specific information pertaining to drug –drug interaction, herbs –drug Interaction, alcohol –drug interaction. News drug introduction into the market by various drug companies and reports of adverse reactions of the presently used drugs.

Every year the Institute is celebrating the National Pharmacy week at a grand scale involving not only the students and the staff of the institute but also the people residing in the campus and the Kusgaon Village. During pharmacy week celebration street plays are organized to provide information on various tropical as well as other diseases such as tuberculosis, hepatitis, asthma, AIDS etc. We also distribute leaflets, pamphlets, news letters to common people highlighting the appropriate handling, usage and storage of drugs, medicines and other health care products.

Regular Guest Lecture of highly reputed, qualified Academicians, Scientists and Industry Professionals are invited every month to deliver lectures on the current and other important topics related to Pharmacy education and pharmacy profession.
