2. Three Students Mandar Joglekar, Megha
Tidke & Kailash Padvi were awarded prize for best essays
on topic “Future Applications of RS-GIS” held by
Ind. Soc. of Remote Sensing Pune Chapter. The prize included
sponsorship to 25th ISRS convention held in Ranchi between 6th
– 9th Dec 2005.
3.A research paper titled “Managing Surface
Water Resource in Urban Environments using High Resolution Satellite
Data” authored by T.Y.B.Sc (Geology) students Mandar J,
Sheetal K., Megha T., Vaishali M. and Kailash P. was selected
for presentation at National Conference “GEOMATICS- 200”
at Chennai 04th -06th January 2006.
4. T.Y.B.Sc. (Microbiology) students attended
the annual conference of Association of Microbiologist of India
at Hyderabad between 8th – 10th Dec 2005. 4 Groups of
students presented their work in form of the posters. These
