The vast, verdurous campus and sound infrastructure of STES are the precious add-ons to the unique, pragmatic learning process. Amidst this environs the Sinhgad College of Science was established in 2001 with an aim for providing holistic knowledge. The college is driven by a very vibrant faculty that enjoys a rich professional experience with a sense of exemplary competence. A lot of emphasis has been laid on the Infrastructure as well. This includes the best of laboratories for Chemistry, Computers, Biology, Physics, Biotechnology, Microbiology and Electronics. All this lies in an environment that's just right for knowledge attainment. Add to that a legacy of education that comes from 35 institutes across the campus of STES . Indeed learning can't acquire a more complete shape than is visible at SCOS.

The Approach

At SCOS, our approach to education has been to allow students to develop themselves by self-exploration and self learning, while the teachers act as vital guides. Today education demands are different. It is no more restricted to books. The globalized environment is continuously demanding, innovation-centric and all round personalities. Our system is in perfect sync with these demands as we unendingly strive to improvise and give students the kind of knowledge and learning that will make them successful global citizens.

The Sinhgad College of Science is recognized by the Government of Maharashtra and it is affiliated to the University of Pune. The College practically exceeds all norms prescribed by the University, regarding space, lab size, lab facilities etc. and joint efforts are made continuously to improve the level of education.
