Sinhgad Academy of Engineering is approved by All India Council for Technical Education and Govt. of Maharashtra. Also, it is affiliated to University of Pune. All the norms prescribed by the University, State Government & AICTE. are strictly adhered to and joint efforts are made continuously to improve the level of education by our entire team.

Teaching Methodology :

It is a well known fact that “No gains without pains”. The teaching and examination scheme as laid down by the University is strictly adhered to & in addition, there are regular class tests, supply & ensuring of solution by students of question bank for each subject & continuous evaluation of laboratory and term work. Also, there's a system of performance appraisal for teachers. Every effort is made to ensure students making maximum use of the facilities & achieve excellence; all the activities are student centric.

As we grow we will expand into a Technological Institute for youths of Nation, developing new and emerging Technologies, methodologies, disciplines and even attitudes. To achieve this, SAE will ensure the highest quality of Faculty, Infrastructural and Instructional facilities with a focus on Academic Excellence with state of art technologies and versatility in approach towards the development of personality of each student.

Some of good Innovative practices of our institution are:-

i) Teacher Guardian Scheme :

A group of twenty students is associated with a Teacher who guides them in their academic as well as personal problems.

ii) News Letter Competition :
In order to keep abreast with rapidly evolving technologies & with a view of encouraging students to come up with new ideas, Interclass News Letter Competition is conducted every month & a prize in terms of books is given to the class.

iii) Lesson plans are prepared by the subject teachers and adherence to those plans full coverage of syllabi is ensured maintaining quality in Engineering Education with full understanding.

iv) Appreciation of teachers /students

v) R & D cell with M.O.U.s with Industries for Building confidence in students & staff.

Sinhgad Academy of Engineering Kondhwa (BK),Pune was established in the academic Year 2005-2006.This is the First year of establishment of the college. The first batch of Final Year B.E. will pass out in 2009.We believe that the Institute’s role is to be the source of innovations in Engineering & Technology. To achieve this we will need to create an ambience in which new ideas & creativity flourish.

To create a productive & enriching environment that will help us reach & maintain first class stature, at both National and International Levels with a focus on Technical education & Research.
