Teaching and Learning got a far deeper meaning when the Sinhgad Technical Education Society (STES) was set up in Aug.1993.Prof. M.N.Navale, a great visionary and dynamic leader laid the foundation of a society that went on to win the respect and admiration of students, parents, industrialists as well as other institutes that too in a matter of just twelve years. The Society is rightly imparting high standard of education at different institutes in the field of Engineering, Managements, Pharmacy, Architecture , Computer Application, Education, Arts, Science, Commerce & has acquired name in a very short span.

In 1996-97 the Engineering college was established by STES offering four years full time degree courses in the fields of Mechanical, Production, Chemical, Civil, communication Engineering. The college is affiliated to Pune University. Today, the first year intake of this college is around 600 for UG & PG course is available for E&TC, Mechanical & Computer Engg. In the same year, two years full time Masters in Computer Application (MCA) course was started. First year intake capacity of this course is 60 students .

In 1998–99, Sinhgad Institute of Management started two years full time Masters Degree Course in Personnel Management (MPM) and two years full time Masters Course in Computer Management (MCM) and at present the intake capacity is 60 and 120 students respectively. Now S.T.E.S. is also running MBA program very effectively with Toppers in Pune University every year.

In 2000-2001, Smt. Kashibai Navale college of Engineering was started for girls. It conducts Degree Courses in the fields of Information Technology, Computer Engineering and E&TC Engineering with 240 intake & it has got 4’th standing in the results of Pune University. In the same year Sinhgad college of Architecture and Sinhgad college of Pharmacy were started. Sinhgad college of Architecture conducts a five-year degree course (B-Arch) with 42 students and the college of Pharmacy conducts a four-years Degree course (B-Pharm) with intake capacity of 60 students.

STES has also started Sinhgad Spring Dale school, a Residential Public School and a Regular Day School (English Medium) from June 2000, running Pre-Primary, Primary and Secondary school & today it has its own standing in Pune, the city of education.

Sinhgad College of Science was started in year 2000-01, with BSc.(COMPUTER SCIENCE) with intake of 80 students.

STES started Sinhgad Institute of Technology at Kusgaon(Lonavla) on Pune-Mumbai Express Highway from the academic year 2004-2005. It conducts four years degree courses in Engineering in the fields of Mechanical, Computer, E&TC & Information Technology & has campus being brought up at International Standard.

From the academic year 2005-06, Sinhgad Academy of Engineering is started with intake of 240 students. It conducts four years degree courses in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology & Electronics & Telecommunication & we are proud to mention that as per STES tradition the college result of First Year is around 60%.

STES has immediate plans to strengthen and consolidate the existing facilities and invest more and more in Information Technology related areas. So, its students will always have an edge over the others when they step into the professional world.

Today, S.T.E.S. has 45 Institutes running efficiently by the management with vision & committed to the society for the Quality Education & is holding highest land & constructed Building area amongst the private colleges which are running more than the double the age of S.T.E.S.

S.T.E.S. also guarantees almost 100% placement through centralized Placement Cell in operation by Experienced Placement Personel with its office located in Pune & Mumbai.
