A snippet
on Chanakya 2008,
“The bigger, better,
tougher B-School Intercollegiate Competition”
With the
overwhelming response of the participants to the competition from
various institutes and within SIBAR, to promote healthy
competition there were two tracks of the competition i.e. SIBAR
and NON SIBAR.
The competition
comprised of three events i.e. “Think Tank”, “Brain Equity” and
“Hard Talk”.
Day – 1 : 24th
January 2008, Elimination Rounds Non SIBAR Track
Event: Think
Tank(Paper Presentation)
The Think Tank had
38 participants out of which 11 teams were chosen for the final
competition.The judges were Col. Pawah and Prof Karkhanis.
Event : Hard Talk(
Debate)
Hard Talk had 29
participants out of which 7 teams were selected for the final
round .The judges were Mr. Atul Bohra and Prof Gajendra Gadkar.
Day – 2 : 25th
January 2008 SIBAR track.
Event: Think Tank
(Paper Presentation)
22 teams enrolled
out of which 2 teams were finalized winner and runners up.
Event: Hard Talk
(Debate)
Hard Talk (Debate)
which was of counter arguments had 6 teams of which 2 teams were
finalized as winner and runners up.
Event : Brain Equity
(Business Quiz)
Brain
Equity(Business Quiz) witnessed 18 teams out of which 2 teams were
selected a winner and runners up.
Day - 3: 1st
February 2008
The final
competitors of Non SIBAR track for all the events contested for
the winners and runners up position. The Brain equity event for
Non SIBAR was held on this day and 2 teams were declared winners
and runners up.
All then events were
closely contested and there was a keen competition amongst all
participants which posed a challenging task before the judges. The
prize distribution ceremony was taken over on the valedictory
function on 2nd February 2008. |
