It gives me immense pleasure to put in front of you a brief replica of department of Mechanical Engg. In terms of achievements, facilities, goals and vision.

    The department has been accredited for five years w.e.f. 11/06/2004 by N.B.A., A.IC.T.E. The departments overall results have consistently been in top three Polytechnics across Maharashtra.The industry institute interaction has always been strong with association with eminent industries such as Tata Motors , Cummins (I) Ltd., L &T Ltd. to name a few. All-round development of the students is achieved MESA(Students Association) by organizing seminars, workshops, educational tours along with excursion to mix business with pleasure.

   The department is well equipped with 16 full time qualified and experienced faculty and excellent infrastructure and lab facility with an independent IT Lab. Creativity and ambience extremely conductive for Engineering studies.

   All this has been possible due to transparent and impartial and healthy atmosphere in the department, leading to whole hearted contribution of each staff member, endorsing the excellent team spirit which prevails in the department.

   I would like to further add that we have recently started Post Diploma in Automobile Engineering adding to the many firsts achieved by the department.
