Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is an important branch of Engineering. Particularly in globalization era, it has to play very important role of communicating with the world. E&TC, the combination of two major branches of engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication, is one of the largest and fastest growing sectors of the present industry. This branch of engineering help us to see, hear and communicate over vast distances, supervise production and manufacturing processes and oversee installation and maintenance of computers, peripherals and components. We work with equipments that use extremely small amounts of power. The role of the electronics engineer is pivotal in realms ranging from the toy industry to consumer electronics, from household articles to space/satellite communication from agricultural to automobile industry.

Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi. The department has highly qualified, experienced and dedicated teaching and non teaching staff to help and support the student in developing a dynamic and leading E & TC engineer. Department has state-of-the-art laboratories namely; Communication, Embedded, Devices and Circuits, VLSI, DSP, Project, Power Electronics, Audio/Video, Basic Electronics etc. and PG labs. Our classrooms are equipped with modern teaching aids like LCD Projector, computer with Internet Connectivity. Computer labs are available with adequate no. of latest computers and advanced software. The department has state of art Research & Development center which helps students & faculties to take innovation Projects. The department has tie up with industries and research institute to keep students updated with new happening.
