Biren Shah Alumnus of Sinhgad Institutes pays Homage to Indian Soldiers of WWI at Arc de Triomphe, Paris
Biren Shah alumnus of Sinhgad Institutes along with President of GOPIO FRANCE METROPOLE Mr Raja MUNUSWAMY and Secretary Mr Etienne Dubaille paid homage to Indian soldiers who fought and sacrificed their lives for France during First World War. A grand event was organized by Biren Shah with his association GOPIO on 15th of September 2018 to commemorate the 100th year of the end of First World War. Almost 1.5 million Indian soldiers fought in the war which saw at least 74,187 Indian soldiers martyred. The event was conducted in memory of the Indian soldiers who died in the battle, as a tribute to honor their gallantry and ultimate sacrifice.
His Excellency Mr Vinay Mohan Kwatra- Ambassador of India to France, Mr. Rémi Feraud- Senator of Paris, Madame Alaxandra Cordebard, Mayor of 10th District, Paris and distinguished delegates from UNESCO and Embassy of India, President and Executive Members of - ANSORAA Association, Centre Culturel Ismaelien, Fédération des Associations Franco Indien and International Association of Gujarati Professionals, France and members of Indian community commemorated the participation of Indian soldiers of First World War.
Event was organized by GOPIO France Metropole under direction of Executive Member Mr Velane Serandia's and Embassy of India, France with Biren Shah playing a key role and active participation.

Biren Shah is an Alumnus of Sinhgad Institutes. After completing his Diploma and Bachelors of Engineering from Sinhgad Institutes, Biren worked as Broadcast Engineering in India for one year. In 2011 he moved to Paris for pursuing International Master of Science Program. Today he is working as Project Manager in Paris and he is actively participating in community events through Indian and French associations.
