Aims and Objectives of the Summer School : Mathematics is backbone of all branches of Engineering and Technology, Its being strong enough in learning, teaching, developing the technology and doing research in academic and professional fields is inevitable. The mathematics prescribed in the curriculum of Engineering and technology does not meet the need of mathematics required in actual teaching and doing research. So many of engineering teachers and researchers face a lot of difficulties in Mathematics. Mathematics teachers are not very much familiar with the applications in different branches of the engineering and which is next to impossible for any teacher. Hence to fill up this lacuna the only alternative is engineering persons must be enriched with sound mathematics background.           Many softwares have come up and coming up for Numerical methods of solving problems in Mathematics and application; but few teachers and researchers are familiar with these.           The main objectives of this summer school are to bring mathematics, engineering and allied professional together and have a thorough teaching, interaction and discussions. This will definitely meet the mutual needs of engineering mathematics, and professionals.           The expected outcome is engineering teachers, researchers and professional shall become self sufficient and independent in mathematical calculations.
