Sub: One day workshop on implementation of revised syllabus for TE (Mechanical Engineering)- Semester II
Dear Sir,
As per the revised syllabus 2003 course of University of Pune, a new subject namely “Tribology” is introduced in second semester of TE (Mechanical Engineering). The Board of Studies (Mechanical Engineering) of University of Pune is conducting a one day workshop at Sinhgad College of Engineering to discuss the following points of the subject.

I request you to depute faculty members ( not more than two) from your college who are teaching this subject. Faculty members are requested to come prepared with their views on the following points before attending the workshop.

The points to be discussed at the workshop are:

1. Methodology and extent to which the subject will be taught
2. Nature of assignments to be given during theory classes
3. Guidelines for setting the Question Papers.
4. Any other relevant points
