Managing, monitoring and maintaining the computer network is a big challenge for network engineers. Traditional windows network is lying on your front to security threats. To recognize solutions for this is to switch over to Linux Networking.

The course is aimed at emphasizing the importance of networking in Linux ,open Source, familiarizing engineering faculty with concepts ,methodologies, facilities and tools for Linux networking which they can in turn, utilize in teaching and Institutional development. Moreover, the course is helpful to implement most secure internet lab at their organizational end. The exit level of participants would be a clear understanding with practical knowledge of Best –Of Breed and industry practices in this vital area.

• To learn fundamentals of firewall & working of Linux Firewall.
