About InstituteSinhgad Technical Education Society was established by Prof. M. N. Navale in the year 1993 with the aim of imparting Quality Engineering Education. More than 117 model Institutions under the society are imparting education spanning from nursery levels to post graduation level, covering multifarious disciplines. Sinhgad Technical Education Society's Sinhgad Academy of Engineering, Pune was established in 2005 and has become synonymous with Quality Engineering Education. This bears a shining testimony to the magnitude of Prof. M. N. Navale's vision and relentless pursuit for excellence. This institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE], DTE and is affiliated to The SPPU Pune. Recently our College has been Accreditated by NAAC with A grade.. |
About E&TC Department
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is an important branch of Engineering. Particularly in globalization era, it has to play very important role of communicating with the world.
E&TC Department has presently an intake of 180 students for UG Programmee. We also offer 2 post graduate programmes (PG) with specialization in Digital Systems and Embedded & VLSI Systems with an intake of 18 each.
The department has an approved PhD research center of SP Pune University. Department has various well equipped laboratories including Research lab, PG lab, Communication, Signal Processing, Embedded system etc. Every year department organizes various knowledge enhancement programs like STTP, workshops, VAP, conferences, seminars for technical upliftment of staff and students. Different Computer labs are available with adequate no. of latest computers and advanced softwares.All the faculties in the department are well qualified and experienced.
More than 21 patents have been filed by the faculty members. Many faculty members are working on research projects funded by University and other agencies. Presently, research projects of more than Rs. 45 lacs are funded.
