Sinhgad Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology was established in year 2004 at a picturesque campus of Lonavala with a view to cater to the technical and skilled requirements of the global hospitality industry. It is the only institute in Pune Rural area with a futuristic educational campus hosting more than seven thousand students not only from Maharashtra but also from different states of India. The campus has an exotic landscape and provides a conducive environment for global education.

The Founder President Professor Hon. M. N. Navale is a leading educationist and a versatile personality of India, has a main objective of the Society to promote education at all levels. He is associated with various social, cultural and educational organizations at the national, international level and holds esteemed positions in the field of education.

‘SIHMCT’ offers 4 years programme in Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT), affiliated to the Savitribai Phule, Pune University, approved by AICTE, and 3 years course in Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Studies B.Sc. (HS) affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University, approved by UGC.
